Health and social care training

The developing skills in health and social care (DSHSC) project, will provide fully funded qualifications to staff working in the health and social care sector across Norfolk and Suffolk.

The aim of the project is to empower people working in the sector to develop new skills. This will enable them to continue providing high-quality care to local people.

The project has secured up to £7.58 million. Up to £3.79 million is coming from the European Social Fund (ESF).

Norfolk Local Access Forum volunteer vacancies

The Norfolk Local Access Forum is made up of 22 people covering a range of interests in countryside access in Norfolk, including: walking; cycling; horse riding; landowners; conservation; other interests (including health, tourism, business, access for all, heritage, education). The Forum provides independent advice to a number of organisations including Norfolk County Council on improving access to the countryside in Norfolk.

We are looking for enthusiastic and proactive people with a passion for the outdoors with good communication skills to fill 5 volunteer vacancies on the Forum. These new members will represent the following interest areas: young people (or those who can represent young people); all abilities access; land at the water’s edge (anglers, boaters, swimmers); BME; health and wellbeing.
